About the Job

We are looking for an engaged and self-driven transport manager for our contract in Gothenburg. As a transport manager at Nordisk Återvinning Service, you will have your own responsibility and the opportunity to influence your daily work. You will be responsible for planning the daily operations together with other transport managers, reporting to the operations manager. The role does not have personnel responsibility but requires you to be a clear and straightforward leader who can handle daily personnel issues.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and leading the daily operations together in a team with the operations manager and another transport manager.
• Administrative tasks, such as time reporting, order management, workshop bookings, and workplace safety matters.
• You are the contact person for our client, the City of Gothenburg, to ensure that the drivers deliver service and good quality.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is positive, creative, good at finding solutions, and highly engaged. We believe you have previous experience in work leadership and personnel management, preferably with relevant education, but this is not a requirement. Experience driving a garbage truck, having a C driver's license and YKB is an advantage. You have good computer skills, are meticulous, and are used to making quick decisions as the work can vary from day to day.
